Composting is required by law in this condition. We cannot throw food waste, except bones, in the regular trash, we have to put it on our own compost heap. If not, we have to take our waste to the transfer station. These 11 gallon bags with handles are biodegradable/compostable and perfect for my needs. They are likely to be made from high-quality PSM (cornstarch) and will be fully compostable in 180 days, not years. I usually get green bags so the people who handle this waste know it's biodegradable. I'm sure you're familiar with a variety of bags. However, they are clearly marked.
