Effective supplement, maybe even too effective

As an active woman who loves to run and enjoys strength training, beta-alanine is the supplement I like to add to my diet when I need extra energy and endurance. I have bought many NOW Foods products (regular and sport) and have always been happy with the quality. As a small athletic female (5'5", 110-120 lbs) I can only take 1 capsule before meals, a really hard workout or a long run. This substance is potent enough to give me one in just 15-20 minutes strong flush. I really feel a chill and a rush; unless it's an intense workout I definitely get some pressure on my skull because the rush is going to my head and not my muscles (and I have a lot of the ones in the Headaches mentioned in reviews). Effect lasts 1-1.5 hours, tingling becomes less noticeable during exercise. Tingling doesn't go away if I take it for a long time, I'm just getting used to it. It's not uncomfortable or bad just weird especially if you are not used to taking these supplements maybe I am exaggerating a little but it seems to me that 3 capsules will kill me so I strongly recommend starting low u nd only increase if you feel confident (especially if you are a small person like me). Personally, I've found that taking it with theanine helps reduce hot flashes, tremors, and tingling. In fact, I would be afraid to combine it with caffeine or other stimulants. For me it helps with muscle fatigue during and immediately after a workout, but I will still feel burning/muscle fatigue the next day if I overdo it. Regular sized pills, maybe a bit bigger, easy to take (but I don't usually have problems with big pills), doesn't cause me stomach problems.
