Seller does not show the underside of the mount - it is HOLLOW! So we have a roof mount (on a vehicle that can move at high speed) with a 1" plane for mounting and 3 other sides that cannot be attached (epoxy or screws). I've done a lot of stupid things. Things in my life, but using these mounts and then driving on the freeway is not one of them. Also, where we need to drive the screw into the plate is the injection molding area, so driving the screws in will inevitably damage them 2 points and which also separate the inside and outside of the 1mm plastic. This is a very poorly designed product.
