I was very disappointed when I received this product as I found the disclaimer.

I was very disappointed when I received this product as I found a disclaimer on the back of each box stating that this product contains LEAD. I was looking for an alternative to regular fructose sweetened spirutein and was excited to try this product. However, due to the lead content, I won't be using this again after that. I'm sticking with natural sweeteners, they're so delicious. It's hard to beat regular vanilla.

Pros

EXCELLENT INGREDIENTS. With no fat, SPIRU-TEIN provides a healthy mix of protein and other essential nutrients. It contains complete protein from nature's best soy-free vegetarian sources - chia, rice, peas and flax.
