I don't usually write reviews but I loved this product and had to say something. Last summer I rode cross-country with my semi-feral cat. She is not aggressive, but she does not know how to communicate with people. I've had her since June 2005 and she's made great progress, but she still won't let me near her and hides under her bed all day. It comes out when I sleep, not in the room or at home. I had to enlist the help of a neighbor who helped me catch her whenever I needed to take her to the vet. This cat is fast and literally runs up the walls to avoid us. I had to find a way to get her out of the little box she had to carry in the car, but something that would lock her in and stop her from jumping. under hotel beds because I knew if that happened I would never catch her again. I stumbled across this product on Revain and after much research I decided this is exactly the 'cage' I need. The product worked perfectly. When folded, it took up little space in my car, which was a good thing because my car was literally packed to the brim. As soon as I got to each hotel, the first thing I did was put my cat in her cage, this playground, and all my cat supplies. First we went to the playground. It was so easy. Then I put a small tray in the playground, food and water for my cat, some treats and a small cage for the cat. I closed the playground and then opened one of the zippered doors to open the small drawer door and take it off. It stayed in the drawer until I closed the door and left the playground. My cat had enough space to stretch out and run around. I felt very comfortable going to collect the rest of my luggage knowing it was safe and sound. The first night she was a little scared because she had never been in such a closed room before. She literally jumped the sides trying to find a weak spot to get out and under the bed. The playground has held up very well. Luckily she calmed down for the next three nights. Every morning I would send her back to the small cage if she wasn't already in, close the cage door and carry her out of the playground. I have no idea what she did every night but she managed to throw herself everywhere. She also managed to mix some water into the litter so the playground was a mess. This playground is quick and easy to clean up. I was able to lift the bottom and carefully place the trash in a trash bag. I used Clorox wipes to wipe and disinfect it. Then I folded it up again and put everything back in the car for another day of driving. As soon as I arrived at my new home, I set up a play area in my bedroom, removed the door from its drawer and rolled the door onto the playground. Even though we were in a new house with no furniture, she adapted perfectly. I used the playground until my furniture arrived a few weeks later. I know some other reviews have complained that the velcro floor was a weak point and I can see how some animals that are good at digging might come out, but I had so much on the playground that my cat couldn't pull off (and she probably wouldn't even try if she could). And as mentioned above, sliding out the floor was a huge benefit for me when cleaning. For the above reasons, I highly recommend this product.
