Overall good portable CD player. The control buttons are too small and there is no separate on/off switch. It has a small LCD panel, overall it's pretty easy to see what track number you're using, otherwise the tiny function code displays above the digital LCD track number display are almost impossible to read unless you're using a magnifying glass. This unit uses 2 "AA" size batteries and seems to work quite well with good sound quality. The supplied "stereo headphones" are not real headphones. "Headphones" only, but play stereo sound. I hate those "headphones" because it's utterly impossible to keep them in your ears when trying to listen to music on this CD player. So I threw away those worthless headphones and bought true stereo mini headphones instead. Overall, I rate this portable CD player 3 stars out of 5, mainly because of the tiny control buttons, the lack of a dedicated power button, the almost impossible recognition of the function code used on the small LCD panel, and those stupid headphones. I have true mini stereo headphones for this device and it is a pleasure to listen to them during my daily walk.
