I've used one of these before but I have two kitchens so I bought one for my basement kitchen. These are great tools! I had a whole crate of lemons that I wanted to peel to make a lemon extract. Although a bit labor intensive, the tool only occupies the outer surface of the lemon you want to preserve and I was able to get one of the best lemon extracts with this tool. It is easy to use and very user friendly. Hand. I'm glad it comes with a plastic storage box so you don't accidentally scratch your skin. It comes with a small brush to help you get rid of small bits of what you use it on, but I've found using a toothbrush works better than a brush. I like its long length and it makes a tedious job so much better. . I am very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it to others.
