Applying ceramic coatings, even with graphene, is easy. However, you need to read the instructions and maybe watch some YouTube videos. The reviewer who used an entire 60ml bottle on one door appears to have done neither. The volume of this bottle of 60ml is standard to cover the entire car. The person who suggested these coatings usually come in 16-ounce bottles confused this type of coating with spray coating. Two different types of products and two different application methods. And these products can hardly be called "high quality". For example, CarPro Cquartz UK 3.0, one of the most popular consumer coatings on the market, is available in a 50ml kit for standard automotive applications. 16 fluid ounces cost $675. Please understand that you are applying a semi-permanent coating to the paint. Get it wrong and you'll spend hours buffing or worse wet sanding. Find out how to properly install or not use this. This is a ceramic coating, no wax or spray on the product. I've taken classes at AutoGeek headquarters, but you can learn how to use these products simply by watching a few YouTube videos. To put it bluntly, if you can't cover an entire standard sized car with this 60ml bottle then you don't know what you are doing. Surface preparation is the key element here. Any errors in your color that you have not corrected will remain. This coating does not fill defects, it covers them. The list page lists the steps you need to go through. I agree with the steps but disagree with the order.1. Thoroughly wash the vehicle with a car wash designed to remove wax and previous coatings.2. Disinfect the paint chemically with an iron remover3. Physically disinfect the paint by smearing it with clay.4. Polish the color. If the surface is badly wavy/scratched you may need to use a paste and then a fine polish. For slightly swirly colors, you can probably just polish them. Wipe down the car with a 50/50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and distilled water to remove any last traces of oil etc.6. Apply coating as shown. The kit includes a sponge and a suede cloth for application. Use a cloth wrapped around the sponge as the sponge itself will absorb too much product. Apply a line of the coating to the fabric, close the bottle with a lid and apply hatched. This product should be enough to cover a car panel, such as B. a door to cover. A standard size panel such as B. a door or a leaf, never requires more than two product lines. You may need to use an additional product line to make large panels like a hood or roof. Wait for the product to blink. The flashing time depends on the temperature and humidity. This may take a minute or less, or several minutes. For the first or both panels, I paused after each panel to get a feel for flash timing. You can then cover the second bar while the last one flashes. You can tell when you see a rainbow-like effect, often described as oil on the water's surface. Then take the microfiber and very lightly polish the panel. You are not trying to remove the product like you would waxing, rather you are trying to chip off any protrusions and even remove the coating. You will find that the microfiber cloth grabs or pulls a bit, which is normal with graphene coatings. Repeat the process until you cover the car. Prevent the car from raining or getting wet for 24 hours, and do not wash with soap or chemicals for a week, after which it should be fully cured. Ceramic coatings have been around for a number of years and have revolutionized the parts industry. That's good. Graphene is the latest development and when added to a ceramic coating, the product should improve the hydrophobic properties as well as the durability of the coating. A friend bought a new car and was dying to have it painted. Since it was new, she hadn't waxed it yet, and it only needed a light polish to remove any imperfections. Autokcan was applied in the same manner as similar coatings and the process was uneventful. It turns out a glossy surface. It started raining a few days after application and the product became very hydrophobic, even more so than the direct ceramic coating on my car, but my coating lasted two years. It seems like a good cover, but that's all I can say. no statement on longevity. Autokcan claims that consumer grade graphene coatings last 5-7 years with proper care. If it comes close I'll be impressed, especially at this price point. So far so good, there are issues and I will update this review.
