Our chair started to crack and peel so I was hoping this was the answer that would solve the problem if not a workaround. The kit literally contains "paints" only, not including the brush and mixing jar shown in the photos. I followed the directions and it didn't help to get rid of the peeling of the glued skin. I'm trying to think of a situation where this might work and haven't found anything. I'm frustrated because I wasted $16 and still have to buy a new chair or have it fixed. I'll try the second layer and update my review if it makes a difference.
