When I opened the package I was surprised by its weight. It's a stout body, mostly metal, with a plastic lid. The cover can be a bit fiddly to remove, but that's probably fine, you don't have to worry about the hard drive you're installing falling out. I inserted a Seagate Backup Plus Slim external hard drive for installation and formatted the hard drive into MBR, NTFS, 32K cluster for use with the WODE Jukebox on my Wii. I put my samovar on a hard drive and connected it to the Wii via a self-powered USB hub (Wode alone will not provide enough power to run this case with a spinning drive and a USB drive attached. I have also a Samsung USB drive connected Stick part of the hub with a homebrew game cube on it to test the hub's continuity to the water It works as it should, all devices are recognized and all homebrews load perfectly! and convenience of This product will keep me coming back for more if I ever need a USB hub and enclosure combo for future projects.
