I am so obsessed with these clear acrylic office organizers that I had to add them to my collection. It's quite large, so it's designed for a large desktop like a flat drafting table or a drafting table where multiple users can use it at the same time. It is perfect for markers, pencils, felt-tip pens, watercolor markers and so on. It spins very well and makes your creativity fun. I prefer to use it for my markers, which are quite wide and don't fit in other pen holders. I can organize this by color and turn it into the desired color. Also, this system has pieces of the cake that you can remove to place outside of the carousel if you need to share the table or something. It turns well. It's clean and looks very organized. There's also a handle in the middle so you can carry it around if you need to, but with my thick markers there it's quite difficult. It would probably be more like using it for pencils or something shorter. I really love the system. My only complaint was that it arrived without one of its rubber feet, so it was a little crooked for a while until I replaced it with a dot of glue. That works great. I'm sure if yours arrives without one of the legs the manufacturer will be happy to send you a small dot of glue. I just had a little in the office.
