It seems that Mr. V. Res' review is for a completely different monitor than mine. In my opinion, this is an incompatible monitor that should never have been sold, let alone under the "Ultrasharp” brand. The monitor cannot be controlled. The hue goes from green to pink. Black is never black and text always has a colored or white "halo". You may struggle to get a decent setup. Forget it: you will never succeed. Brightness is uneven across the screen showing variable patches, and brightness is consistently higher in the bottom third (or half) than the top. And that's not my unit of measurement. If you need more opinions, visit the Dell Forums. I've had very different monitors, both CRTs and LCDs, and I kind of liked them, but never hated them. That's my feeling about it. I'll send it back tomorrow.
