The best thing for the money, I'm glad I chose this option.
To transfer data from one disk to another, I connected the SSD to the laptop via an external USB case. Using Samsung Data Migration, I transferred all the contents from the old disk to the new one. Transferring files (500 gigs) via USB 2.0 took approximately 8 hours.
