I've spent several hours looking for the right collar for my small dog. I finally settled on this one because it was very affordable, had high reviews, and came with two collars. When I received it, I found that the "extra collar" was just a collar with no additional correction device. Maybe I didn't read the details that carefully (a side effect of watching so many for so long), but I found it a bit misleading. It's not that small either. The collar is small but the device is about the size of one of these correction devices so it's a bit misleading when it's sold for smaller dogs. Finally, the deal breaker was that I received the device and it said "Do not charge for more than 4 hours". This means that the battery is old and the wiring of the device does not have overcharge protection. If you know anything about the history of rechargeable batteries, that's a big red flag. I would choose another comparable device and wish you the best of luck in your search.
