Purchased for making hot tea and coffee in Aeropress. Operation is very simple: add the amount of water you want to heat, turn on the kettle, press the power button. When the water is hot you will hear a *click* and the red light on the front of the kettle will turn off. The blue version of the teapot looks beautiful. Has a cool retro look, not just the old stainless steel finish. Easy to clean. The manufacturer recommends vinegar/water for indoor use. I've cleaned it a few times with warm water/detergent and had no problems.
