It's more like 3-4 oz if I'm lucky. Much smaller than I expected from a square piece of leather without a blemish. I'll make it work by layering it, but it's far from what they describe. I would say that this is the artisanal side of leather. It has smudges on it, a dark streak that looks like it's been rubbed with something, leaving a polished mark all over the face. A couple of calls. One part looks premium, the other looks and feels like crap from a hobby lobby. That's it. Live and learn.UPDATEAfter my rating, the seller contacted me. I may not have been happy with what I received but they will work with me and replace part of it. Which is absolutely normal. One part was good and the other didn't quite meet the same specs. I appreciate it when there is a company behind the product. This is more important than the product itself. I look forward to doing business with them again.
