I am very satisfied with this thermometer, it is accurate and easy to use. I made roast beef out of a rib. Single rib roast beef is sold in supermarkets as "cowboy steaks" but that's a misnomer, it's a lousy steak but great when you can sear it. I turned the oven to 375, seasoned the meat with salt and pepper, set it upright on a roasting rack, inserted an AMIR thermometer and set it to medium. When the thermometer beeped, everything was ready. I have attached two photos, one shows the meat with a thermometer and the other shows the meat after slicing, as you can see from the photos the roast beef is perfectly cooked.
