A valuable purchase, some advantages!

Back in 1995, sound engineer Egory Rudenko brought a Sony MDR-7506 to me all the way from New York. He had used the exact same headphones to master the entire archive of the Aquarium group and other groups from the assortment of the Triary river company. I only have these headphones, and they are the only ones that are still functioning properly. Already 25 years have passed! They are always in my possession wherever I go. Spending my time off at the beach and in the country. They have a fantastic sound, and in addition, they fit extremely comfortably not only on my head but also on the heads of my wife and our children, which is another reason why they are so much liked by my family. In spite of the fact that each member of the family has their own wired and wireless "plugs" as well as on-ear headphones, these headphones are constantly being poked by other family members, despite the fact that I swear to them that they won't. Everyone enjoys the sound and the convenience of "sitting on the head," but the children and the wife do not understand the nuances of sound reproduction. However, everyone enjoys the sound. Kids enjoy listening to music as well as watching cartoons and shows on television. Predictably, the headphones tumbled to the ground and did so multiple times. But don't let anything hold you back from living your life! The main wire is unbroken, as are the thin wires that lead to the cups, the connector is unbroken, and both the cups and the speakers are unbroken as well. 25 years passed with hardly a single alteration or repair made. Even the ear cushions themselves are considered "native." Even though the film peeled off of them, leaving only foam rubber behind, it does not crumble at all and has a more pleasant feel than a plastic film, which caused the ears to become heated. If I put on my Sony MDR-7506 headphones if there is something in my newly purchased headphones that I am having trouble understanding, then everything becomes crystal clear. These headphones are not ideal for someone who prefers a "meaty bass" or "ringing highs," as they were not developed with those preferences in mind. Here we have perfect linearity, which means that there is no "protrusion" in any of the points along the spectrum. Because of this, each and every detail can be heard quite clearly using these headphones. These headphones are the industry standard for usage by professional sound engineers. I wish the people who made this miracle the best of luck.

Pros
  • These monitors are designed for professional use and have an excellent frequency response that is linear. Comfortable. Crafted with care. Unkillable.
Cons
  • After 25 years of use, the plastic linings and professional stickers that were located above the area where the cups were folded peeled off. The plastic covering that covered the ear pads has pulled away. (The foam rubber that is concealed beneath the film is still functional and does not collapse.) If any of the aforementioned are deal breakers for you, you should check into other options for headphones.))
