Surprisingly poor throughput. A 256GB write starts with a decent load of 20-25MB/s (hardly normal for USB2.0, bad for USB3.0). But with steady writes, throughput barely hits 1MB/s. It took _over_8_hours_ to write 220GB. Don't buy, it's not worth it. Updated 12/04/2017. I appreciate Steve's comment from Sandisk, but his comment "Also this flash drive has no published read/write speeds." is wrong. In fact, at the top of the product page, under "X sold, Y done." : * Transfer speeds up to 90MB/s My configuration is a USB3.0 port (connecting to a 5400rpm USB hard drive to get 170MB/s). This stick never exceeded 30 MB/s during test 2. I'm sticking with a one star review.
