I've never owned a hand mixer before. So when I look at the reviews of different blenders, many have commented on how powerful they are and even at low speed it can be overpowering. It was my main concern that everything in the bowl would fly out or just be a mess. Absolutely no problem. Try on speed 1, there are 5 speeds. In my video banana bread mix. Speed 1 was perfect, the blender is easy to hold, all 5 speeds are right in front of my eyes and accessible to me if I just have to swipe my thumb up while holding it. It's not noisy at all. Now it's only used at speed 1, I don't need a higher speed. I don't think I will need higher speed, this thick mix was proof of what I needed. Simple release button for unlocking accessories. The only thing it doesn't have is a wireless connection. Very happy with it
