I have searched a lot for a reliable jack that I would have no doubts about and came across these Torin jacks and looked no further. I was so surprised at how big these bushings were. The product picture doesn't do them justice. Assembly is easy with a single solid screw to attach the base to the vertical column. There is no doubt that the pins used for these sockets are solid. They're fat and won't go anywhere unless the car is on them. I feel much calmer when I see the lock is locked. I don't think I'll be going back to a ratchet design that doesn't have a visible guarantee. I had no problem with the length of the chain connecting the base to the pin, allowing the pin to reach the holes. The aluminum is clean and nicely brushed. You can tell it's really well made - it feels like a quality product. It's worth it to me, especially when it comes to your safety. I will be buying two more soon to get the car off the ground completely.
