So, I saw that some had issues with the loops for the lacing. I sew. I loaded my machine with upholstery thread (the heaviest thread that a regular home machine can handle) and reinforced the seams that hold the lacing loops as well as added additional stitching @ each loop. The only way these are going to go is if I'm attacked with scissors. It could happen. I have a strange job.The other trick that I've learned is to use double-sided satin ribbon. You can still lace and tighten but won't deal with the issue of "sticky lacing" (lacing that won't move with you during activity or just sitting).After I got all of that done including washing the garment, I donned my awesome new top that my hubby appreciates me in because I look like a character out of Assassin's Creed.
