These sheet holders keep the sheet (or mattress pad in my case) in place. The instructions are pretty simple - they work almost like a paper clip or clip, holding the sheet to the rope seam you'll find at the corners of your mattress. This makes them theoretically universal for all mattresses. And a set of 4, placed correctly, would probably fit everyone. However, depending on the rope, you will find it harder or easier to put them on at all. All you have to do is slide and click on it. It took me a lot of effort and my fingers hurt the fourth time, but once you put it on it won't come off. Not sure I'd recommend them if you're just trying to hold a hand. It would be a hassle to take them off and put them on to change the bedding. But for me, once we get the mattress pad to slip, friction alone keeps the sheet on the mattress pad. So I'm happy. They are of better quality than many crossed band tin clips you find on the market as they are made of metal and not plastic. If you found my review helpful, please let me know.
