Shower head with some noticeable problems

I wanted to start with a comment. For those who aren't a materials engineer, ABS stands for Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene. It's plastic and cheap. That's why there is no extra zero in the price to get a metal bill. First of all, I was glad that the threaded connection was actually metal, at least. This made it easy to attach the shower head to the existing pipe and should last almost forever. The freedom of movement was also better than the shower head I replaced. I also appreciated the small roll of teflon tape so I didn't have to worry about having one or not. Installation was quick and took about two minutes. Using a rubber grommet and teflon tape, all I needed was a good seal by hand to be waterproof. I was wondering how much more my little brass shower head weighed. The color of my polished brass was excellent. Switching between modes was easy with the help of a small lever. It rotates easily and has detents to let you know when you've reached your desired setting. I'm not sure how well it will perform over time, but at least outside of the box I give it high marks. As for the performance of the showerhead, I found the results to be mixed. My water pressure is in the high 80-100psi, so I don't think the low water pressure negatively impacted performance. My conclusions were: - Fog - What kind of fog? It was a continuous thick stream from every hole. It's like power spray without the powder. If that's important to you, don't buy this shower head. All mixed modes are pathetic and don't benefit my showering experience. Again, if any of the mixed modes are important to you, look elsewhere. - A trickle - I was expecting this would give me a couple of jets to keep the water flowing and maintaining the temperature. It's actually an "off" setting that allows you to throttle the flow. It works, but not in the way I expected. - Power Spray - works well and can easily "reach" all parts of the shower in the tub. You can feel the impact of the jets falling on your body. This is my second favorite setting and I find that I like it more than I expected - high pressure is my favorite setting and the one I expected to use the most. It covers a large area with multiple nozzles and provides a good cleaning. If that setting is important to you, then this is a great value showerhead. So the mist doesn't work at all, the mixed modes are useless in my opinion, the trickle isn't what I expected but it works, and the power and high pressure work well. Considering the price I would say the shower head is adequate but not exceptional value.
