As far as I can tell this is an HDMI 2.1 certified cable as stated on the promotional page. I have no problem with the cable itself and found its connectors and shielding adequate. I haven't tested the speed myself, but it works fine on my 4k TV. For those of you who don't know, the 2.1 standard will be around for many years to come.
