Review on Chrysler Commander Cherokee KOBDT04A OHT692427AA by Isaiah Edgar

Does not work quite as advertised

Key looks as described but does not work. I bought 4 keys for a 2008 Chrysler Pacifica. I took them straight to the Chrysler dealer for programming. The keys didn't work and I ended up paying almost $200 for a new key anyway. The best the dealer could do was program the key to start the car when inserted into the ignition system. However, the alarm did not communicate with the system. A complete waste of money. They then had the gall to ask me to send the keys back. Who in their right mind would return their already carved car keys? It's practically begging for a free car. I don't trust anyone or companies enough to give them my car keys back. Thank God Revane got my point! Well, if you only need the key to get in and out, and possibly start by hand, the keys will most likely work. you made mine BUT. If, like me, you have purchased keys to function like your original fob and communicate with your system as advertised, do so with the understanding that your key may not function.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Easily repairable
