Update - Great MoBo! Buy it!

I have bought many Asus components. And usually I love them. After purchasing a Ryzen 5000 series processor, I settled on the x570 motherboard. It seems excellent value for money. However, there are 2 BIG problems so far and I am very disappointed. 1.) I bought a good memory kit for this - 3600 cl16. It works great and even surpasses 3600/cl16 with ease. However, on this board with the current BIOS (3001) the performance is actually slower and it's noticeable when running DOCP which clocks/multiplies it at XMP speed. So at least for now I'm using a memory speed of 1333 (standard spec). It's ok, works great on other systems etc, but sometimes it doesn't even show up in the BIOS. This is not a CSM issue. The disk is not recognized at all. After going through BIOS updates/downgrades, removing the battery, clearing the CMOS, reinstalling Windows due to obvious corruption, etc., the problem persists. I suppose I could go back to Sata SSD but I really need the wireless drive that ASUS provides m.2, please fix these issues ASAP, this board is in beta level at the moment and is not acceptable. If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix these issues I'm all listening, but so far this is the most frustrating build I've had due to these issues. Got a replacement and now there are no more problems with the m.2. Hoping for a bios update that improves docp performance. Update 3: Finally it works as expected. Requires some tweaking and using Ryzen Master and most importantly CTR 2.0 to find the values that make it buzz. Definitely 5 stars moboUpdate 4: Sorry, another update. Part of my initial frustration was the disappearance of m.2 (in the BIOS) - this is the Gigabye Aorus Gen4. Tried both m.2 slots, NO other drives, one GPU. I tried again to switch from 2802 to 3001 bios - and m.2 disappeared again. Love the flashback feature - went back to 2802 and all is well. I contacted ASUS support and they said "no one else had this problem". Okay I'm the only one but I'm back on 2802. Works fine so far, great OC etc.

Pros
  • High performance gaming network: WiFi 6 (802.11ax), 2.5Gb LAN with ASUS LANGuard
Cons
  • Quality
