I run nowhere and never. But I show dogs and a lot of my suits don't have pockets. I don't like using the "solution" to tuck either chicken or liver (cooked) under the elastic of my number (over the sleeve of my dry-clean-only jacket) or, least preferably, under my left bra. the strap is hardly professional. This is the best I've found - I just pull it up the waistband of my skirt and leave the velcro top open when I stand outside the ring - perfect! It simply washes overnight with soapy rinse aid or dishwashing liquid and dries instantly ready for the next morning. It keeps my suit clean which is the best part and my lure is easily accessible with no unprofessional pretense or grease stains on my clothes like some other guides. I even use it instead of the available jacket pockets, much cleaner, fewer distractions and as we saw on the TV show your dog doesn't try to chew a hole in your pocket when you walk around the ring! Edit: I'm already buying a replacement. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE this bag, it's great for storing lures in the ring. The only reason I have to replace the first one is because my daughter's dobie decided there must be chicken in there, even though I washed it every night I must have left a crumb of chicken soaked in corner detergent. He found this smell and decided he would just eat around the corner -> -> big hole in the bag :( I think I might order pink this time.
