I was so impressed with the Treatlife night light we got for my daughter that I checked out some of their other products and also as we recently remodeled the kitchen and being smarter at everything seemed worth trying. The key takeaway from this is that since it supports Smart/Wi-Fi, it requires a neutral wire, which you may or may not already have in your outlet. Luckily we got it right, so it was just plug and play. While the light was easy to set up via the app, this one had connectivity issues. The light came on immediately - no delay, no hiccups. This one, not so much. I'm not sure if this is user error or if I caught a bad batch, but here it is: it took 6 attempts to finally register the application and then the connection dropped. The phone I connected it to had to be restarted and the process restarted before I could sync it. The good news is that after everything worked, Alexa imported the information from the app and the rest is history. All in all, not a perfect setup due to the app, but the device seems to work. So far, so good.
