Great device easy to work with except for 19 " racks

Like any other type of device it does one thing and it is advertised as doing one thing. In this case it is a socket switch. Typically, surge protectors just add a small electronic part called the surge protector, which is essentially a two-terminal capacitor to store/filter small surges (surges) and simply interrupt in the event of a surge. too much of. This in turn shorts out the outlet and trips the circuit breaker. A simple idea, but nothing that could add value. , illuminated with blue LEDs, controls an output on the back of each device. The power cord to the device is thick and durable. Except for the frame, the device is well made. The bezel needs to be thicker and I'm not sure why, but the template that cuts out the post ear holes in the faceplate still uses the super old rack spacing. Most modern 19" racks no longer use this spacing for screw holes. You cannot mount this unit directly into a standard 19" rack without modifying the screw holes on the front panel. last very long.
