Genuine FAR Infared Heating Pad

I first became interested in far infared technology when I heard about it on the bulletproof podcast years ago. Dave Asprey credits FIR technology and Ozone with waking up his nervous system from mold exposure. I had mold exposure many years ago too. This past year however, I started having neurological changes and neck pain. Finally saw an upper cervical chiropractor who took x-rays. Sure enough I have disc degeneration and an out of allignment atlas. Anyway, I also saw a cranial sacral therapist around the same who had me lie on a biomat, and reminded me this tech existed.Long story short I noticed I was getting incredible results with our sessions. My nervous system would "wake up” for a few hours. After realizing it was the biomat as much as it was the sessions, and finding out they are 1000’s of dollars.I decided to buy this relatively cheap model to see if it could provide the same healing. It totally seems to be working! In the few days I have had it, I have had no neck pain and my brain and body definetly seem to function a little more normally. Previously I was experiencing some neuropathy, and cognitive changes.Hopefully this healing technology can help to offset some of those changes and slow their progression. Some of these reviews aren't very well concieved out so I wanted to set the record straight:1. HEAT:this pad actually heats up quite nicely. Far infrared isnt so much about the temperature so much as it is about the spectrum and frequency—Meaning, it should still work quite well even on a lower setting. On a lower setting you will still get the healing effects. Its meant to be used from the side that has the light grey mesh patch, if you use the other side down the heating will be less intense.2. Some reviews said this isn’t real FIR techNot true at all. The heat from FAR INFARED penetrates very deeply, to the point that you really feel the after effects on your skin and in your body for a long time. Compared to my experience with a biomat, the biomat is therapy grade. But comparing this thing and the biomat, this is still most certainly real actual far infared. I can feel the after effects on my skin right now.3. ControlsThe controls on this thing are very simple and functional, comes with a crappy instruction book. But here is the deal:You need to press down hard once for a few secs until the light turns on.Once on, click it once to change the setting easily from red to green, green to blue, and blue back to redRed light: highest setting, most heatGreen light: middle setting, medium heatBlue light: lowest setting, low heatIt should switch off after about 30 minutes. With far infrared you dont need long with it, and should not over do it. I would not work with it beyond 45 minutes a day unless you are in tremendous amounts of pain. I’m not a doctor, please feel free to do your own research into this technology.4. The cordIt could be longer, but whatever. plug into a thin extension cord (thats what they are for) and you’ll be fine :-)Anyway, its relatively inexpensive compared to the stone models (which are knock offs of biomats), and imo graphene (a nobel prize winning technology) seems to do the job just fine. Overall five stars from me.Hope you enjoy your new heating pad! You’re welcome!
