I have a big head. When I bought tight hats I used 8-7/8 and spent a month stretching my head to fit them. I came across a Vineyard Vines baseball cap somewhere and it was huge. Such a cap for dad with no structure, it fits easily on my fat head. Well I turned that cap into a salt crystallized brown pulp and I needed a new one. So of course I went to BB and ordered another one. It came and at the largest size I couldn't get my head through. I was devastated. Then I went shopping and found this hat. Not only was it $30 cheaper than the VV version, it matched the same. This is now my favorite as it fits me perfectly and I don't have to look ridiculous when making the back adjustment for the widest opening available.
