My fiancee is health conscious and will definitely drink vegetable/fruit juices no matter how unpleasant they taste. I was only on board because killing carrots was fun. I don't like carrots. The unit was packaged very well and everything was easy to put together with two possible exceptions: 1) We weren't sure which container to put where until we realized that the larger container just didn't fit snugly into the unit's cutout fitted, but was also better suited for juice collection, and 2) the "scoop" isn't a scoop at all, it's some sort of spout (seems unnecessary) that fits into the larger of the two collection funnels (see video). This is how the juicer works like a champ! The engine didn't hesitate a bit with grapes, oranges, celery, apples and carrots. The control buttons are clear and simply respond to a light touch. The body of the device is light and flexes under pressure, but serves well enough to protect the user. The auger, screen and spout are the workhorses of the process and feel strong and durable. Disassembly was easy, as was cleaning. I even confess that I tried carrot and apple juice and it was sweet and delicious! (photo attached) I see juicing as a good option for our garden produce as we can store the juice in the freezer for later use.
