Review on Braun Combi Foil Cutter Replacement by Nicole King

Braun Series 3 Combi 31S Foil and Cutter Replacement Kit - 2 pc. old stock old BRAUN 31S cutter with NARROW BLADES. In addition to the older image shown on the Revain page (note the straight cut lines), it had an older UPC code: 0 69055-85398 6. What I received has a UPC code: 4 21020- 107282-9 and is a modern product with wider blades. A modern product just doesn't cut it. I suspect this is because wider blades make it harder for hair to cut through the blade grille. Older cutters have a narrow blade of about 15%, blade spacing of 85%; Modern cutters have a blade width of approx. 60% and a blade spacing of 40%. The newer cutters are obviously easier/cheaper to make but don't work very well. I might give 3 stars as I expect the old style product just isn't available anymore. but the website image and UPC are misleading! If the supplier no longer has the exact product advertised then UPDATE or create a new product page!
