Update - Even a few weeks after receipt the chemical smell is still there. For starters, it's as thin as a washcloth that can't get rid of the formaldehyde smell. Too thin, too finished, I will not buy again. I have several wool blankets that the chemicals can't get rid of. I've tried every method in the reviews and only gotten a heavy fleece blanket for relief. Not worth it, you may have to throw it away as it retains a chemical smell. Poor production, should have thought about that.
