If a product sheet says something, it must mean something

This antenna has been listed as numbers 136-520. I bought it to work with gmrs because the description says I received it and it is clearly stamped correctly on the antenna from 144 megahertz to 430. I feel totally cheated because it was mangled to convince me to purchase to move, not worth sending it back
