As for the colors, I love these pens! The colors are so rich and soft. They are described as velvety, which is a good term. The orange is the prettiest orange I've ever seen, and the apple green looks just like a fresh green apple - it pops off the page when you paint with it. These colors are smooth and even I can make a drawing or drawing that looks pretty good and I'm far from an artist. However, there are several disadvantages. The tips seem to break very easily. Mine came with a broken black tip and I broke a few more in the process of just painting. They sharpen well but seem to break more than usual. The case could also have been designed better. It is difficult to get a pencil yourself. It's easiest to press on the tip and lift your back, but I don't like pressing on the tip of pencils! All in all very good pens. I wish they were stronger and in a better case but I love these colors!
