BLOW AIPTASIAN!

This is by far the most effective product I have found to combat Aiptasia. My tank is a 125 gallon (72 x 18 x 24) mixed reef with a 40g sump and at least 125# rocks. Old school rock from the days we stuffed it almost to the brim. Lots and lots of nooks and crannies for Aiptasia to thrive. After chasing off the Giant Melanarus Wrasse and the renegade "Non-Aiptasia Aiptasia" that was eating all the shrimp and crab in my tank, I had to deal with a giant Aiptasia bloom. It took me six months of complete Hemingway madness to catch the vicious wrasse. Who, by the way, ate the tails of the two spotted pines in front of me as an act of fish terror. Somehow. I usually feed my fish and wait 30 minutes before using the product. This seems to discourage the fish from eating Aiptasia. I've seen fish try it before and seem to spit it out without harming the fish. I use the larger bottle to refill the smaller retail bottle that came with the syringe. This helps me keep track of how much I've used and seems to be the magic number for avoiding water chemistry issues (125 gallon mixed reef with a 40g sump). Oral disc of sea anemones. It doesn't seem to last long and after using aiptasia-x I haven't had any relapses. When I first started using it, a few drops landed on the plate coral causing tissue loss. This will also kill the zoanthids if you're not careful. Once I had a good idea of how much and how to use it safely, the Aiptasia carnage began. All in all, this is a great safe product. I highly recommend it.
