Quality with night vision LEDs is about the same as without. Got this as a replacement for a camera that decided to output a distorted image like a bad TV instead of a real image apparently after going to a car wash. The camera temporarily did this a few more times for a few days, but the original camera that came with the rearview mirror eventually failed permanently. So I had to take this one to replace it. So far, this seems to work well even when wet. These cameras, including the original camera, must be waterproof, and the original failed.
