In general, I like these shoes very much. They sit comfortably on my son's feet and flex well for him to walk, unlike his Carter sandals which have a very firm sole and he often trips in them. Although they appear small. My son now has a size 5 toddler but I wanted them to hold him up all summer so I bought a size 5.5 and they fit him. His fingers are on end, and since they have a lip over the finger, he will most likely outgrow them before summer is over. I would suggest going up a size by at least a full size as your child nears the end of their current height. In terms of comfort, they are great for the price.
