Review on πŸ’§ G Water RO Filtration Certified by Reverse Osmosis by Michael Vargas

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The filter system works as expected, but.

This is a standard reverse osmosis filtration system like you've seen for years, it's a complete system and it lowered our PPMs by over 80% as intended, we also added 'alkaline' Over, but PPM was tested "Reverse Osmosis Water Only" at the end. The reverse osmosis system arrived in a large box and inside each component was nicely individually wrapped in smaller boxes. Arrived 3 filters "before reverse osmosis". in different boxes, and each had its own brand. The "housing" for each filter that goes into the "hub" was dirty. EVERYONE had cardboard dust and little scraps in it so it had to be pre-cleaned before installation, not a good look for something that will hold water intended to enter our bodies, I also know that filtering and RO would be rid of them but never mind , The fact is that a water filter should never get dirty except from carbon filter byproducts and honestly it's been a while since I've seen a case like this. There were no "safety rings" included. I had to separately purchase a set of fittings that came in handy to separate the reverse osmosis water from the alkaline filter I had added to the system, but the system came with no safety rings. These are those blue snap rings that you put 1/4 of the way down for a quick connection to prevent accidental disconnects that can cause flooding. had to be rebuilt and secured with circlips that were not included in the kit. But not knowing if I got the lemon or not, this set comes with no instructions. You read that right, all the literature that came with this kit had "WATER REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEM" and "Manufacturer's Website" printed on the outside packaging (and having so many different brands in there leads me to believe it only an intermediate is all together). Something this complex should NEVER come without a guide, I understand this needs to be installed by someone with experience (which luckily I had, so I did) but imagine the first timer tried to do it without a guide to do. I understand there are videos on YouTube that relate to the general idea of how to do this, but that's beyond the facts. Overall the filter works great, the PPM filtering works as expected and so far everything is holding up well but gets overlooked. Safety features (rings), no instructions, quality control in the presence of cardboard dust/clippings and all this at a price no better than established competitors who have YouTube videos specific to each product variant, including safety and best quality control Product that 5 stars lower could be than that of the competition. If it had cost $140 and included instructions or at least a link to where I could find out without researching where each of the pre-filters went, I might be overlooking its minor flaws.
