There seems to be a lot of comments about these pajamas running small but they fit my 5 year old perfectly. I understand that some outfits have a longer and slimmer fit while others have a shorter but wider fit - it's definitely a longer and slimmer type. My 2 year old is an example of a shorter but wider build. If he is 5 years old I don't think these pajamas will fit as well as my 5 year old who has a longer, leaner build. Although the sizing is correct (XS is usually slightly larger than 5T), it fits different body types differently. I personally love this pajama set. It's cute, fun, and the material is a nice thickness - not too thick to be hot and breathable, but thick enough so you know it's quality. In addition to the fun factor, the shirt pieces in the Darth Vader design glow in the dark - a huge plus! My 5 year old loves these pajamas and so do I. Definitely recommend!
