I needed some short cables to connect my 16 port switch to my patch panels. I use 6 out of 8 and they all work well. They are relatively flexible and don't take up so much space that I can now mount the door on a textured wiring board. While not strictly necessary for my use, I've found the no-hook tab design to be superior to anything else I have. Some unhooked tabs make it difficult to depress the mount far enough to remove the connector. For this reason, I cut off the tab on most of my cables.
