(updated April 2018) Wow. I originally gave 5 stars. It didn't have a 1 star rating when I bought it. Finally a locksmith cut and programmed it. He couldn't program it. Tried 1.5 hours. Usually takes 15 minutes. The chip does not have serial numbers like the OEM. What waste. Now I'm back and it has 8 one star reviews. I don't know how this product is still sold on Amazon. The key can therefore only be used to unlock the door with the remote control or the cut-off key. The engine will not start! Bs what they call it a replacement. (Original review) So far I've been able to sync the key to my car and the remote locks and unlocks it with no problem. There was no time for programming and editing. I will update my review when everything works.
