Review on Handlebar Harley Touring Sportster Softail by Dominic Mayo

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best grip in motorcycles and motorsport

Arrived on time and in good condition as shown; appear to be of good quality and fit my '09 Dyna FXD with no problems; It was an impulse buy - after buying some other parts there was some money left on the gift card so I decided to replace the stock grips which were fine but lacked style (didn't even read the reviews - shame about me). ) attaching metal grips for the first time - debated using glue as removing them would be a nightmare, but there was a thin layer of slightly sticky material on the left side of the stem so I think two set screws (with thread) should keep it safe; The right side of the throttle is a little loose compared to the stock, but it's only noticeable when you're not moving - installs with no problems, the throttle grips and releases smoothly with no binding or excessive play; too early to talk about comfort; Reading reviews (afterwards) they seem to go well with Harleys and not Japanese cruisers so I highly recommend these knobs if you have a Harley. Expect to have to make some minor changes if you don't.
