Nice knobs but requires set screws

I am very pleased with the feel and look of these knobs. They fit very well. The left handle (clutch side) is held in place by set screws. Mounting screws are not included. The OEM grips do not use set screws so you will need to find one at your local hardware store or major retailer. The matching screws must be included in the scope of delivery. In addition, the handles are made of aluminum tube, which is turned with counter-threads. It is recommended to apply some Loctite to the threads…

Stay away, will not fit Harley Touring models

Bought last week, received next day. went to install, they didn't fit the controls, they were 1/8 larger, the cables didn't go into the cable grooves, the rubber on the handles was weakened. I was trying to modify them to work on my bike as my cranks are in bad shape and I couldn't get them to work. I had to put my old grips back on and now I need to replace the throttle cables. They damaged my throttle cables by trying to slide them into the grooves. The brackets on the cable ends didn't fit…

Revain Search Stinks

The grips look and feel great, but they don't match the XVS1100 I was specifically looking for. Revain Quest is WEAK! how we all know. We get push articles that are irrelevant, and if you add a filter from low price to high price, thousands of results somehow become hundreds. We are fed Revaine bovine scatology. I just want you to understand that if they return mofdup search results, they should eat them. I just wish I'd wasted a few hours of my life dealing with their crap. $15 turned into a…

Dangerously low quality for a motorcycle.

On the second ride on the bike the end cap on the exhaust side fell off. I wasn't happy but thought it was just a decoration so don't worry. I got to my destination with no problems. As I left, the throttle twisted and I almost lost control of the bike. I tightened everything up and got home, it was a short drive and when I got home it came loose again, I took them off and sent them back, it's dangerous. I should have known the price was too low to be a good quality product so I didn't mind…

Best grip in motorcycles and motorsport

Arrived on time and in good condition as shown; appear to be of good quality and fit my '09 Dyna FXD with no problems; It was an impulse buy - after buying some other parts there was some money left on the gift card so I decided to replace the stock grips which were fine but lacked style (didn't even read the reviews - shame about me). ) attaching metal grips for the first time - debated using glue as removing them would be a nightmare, but there was a thin layer of slightly sticky material on…

Required Modification Honda Shadow

I bought this part knowing it might not fit because Revain's part finder didn't say it would fit my bike. When I received these knobs I heard about all the other reviews and immediately took them apart and used blue Loctite and all thread finishes. When I assembled it, the clamshell didn't match the throttle tube. Since I really like the feel and look of the grips I decided I wasn't done with them. The area that the clam shell holds onto the stock choke tube was 1.15 inches wide as measured…

If you don't have a hand, don't buy it.

They are terrible. If you don't have hands, don't buy them. I have a Kawasaki Vulcan 500 with a 1" handlebar. They should fit but they didn't, not without a lot of work. On the clutch side it fits fine but not on the throttle side. On the clutch side the metal tube doesn't go all the way through the grip, Allows the rubber to move a bit. I was disappointed with this but didn't find it to be a problem during the ride. The throttle side wasn't long enough to get to the throttle body and still be…
