Great light at a great price

I consider myself a flashlight expert, own a flashlight website (photonphreaks.com) and have developed several. I didn't have high hopes for this lantern so I checked it out, it's amazingly affordable for a dive lantern. The seals were also well lubricated, which is a testament to the attention to detail that is due. I've also included a wall thickness photograph, this is a well built flashlight, no corners cut off here. The rear spring is also nice and powerful. The light interface is a magnetic ring just below your head that you rotate. Magnetic rings are usually reserved for more expensive tail lights and it's amazing that they're implemented here. They are desirable for two reasons. 1: It's very simple, everyone can understand it, "turn the ring to make it better" 2: Because it's magnetic, it doesn't need a hole in the body like a standard switch, which improves water resistance. The pattern of the beam is nice and round, there are three LEDs, but looking at the beam you can't tell. Great beam. Charger, battery, even a strap. You get a lot for your money here, highly recommended.
