Review on 🖱️ Logitech MX Anywhere 2S Wireless Mouse: Versatile Performance on Any Surface, Hyper-Fast Scrolling, Rechargeable Battery, Multi-Device Control for Apple Mac and Windows Computers/Laptops (Bluetooth/USB) - Graphite by Nick Griffith

Very good mouse - beware of super loud key clicks

I've been a long time fan of Logitech mice and keyboards and have tried a few older MX Anywhere models over the years before purchasing this MX 2S. . I've always liked the MX series because I prefer a small, maneuverable mouse and I find the forward/back buttons on the side so handy that any mouse would be stupid without them. This MX 2S appears to glide more smoothly and track more accurately than the original MX. The battery is also a nice change from the old battery-powered model, but using it with the charging cable connected is too reminiscent of the old days before wireless mice. I'm not interested in document transfer software, so I can't talk about it. Overall I think this is a great mouse EXCEPT for one annoying flaw. Left and right clicks are VERY LOUD. Up close, the old MX makes a nice and rather subtle click, while the MX 2S makes a comparatively loud, dull, almost clicking sound. I've never considered my noise floor for acceptable noise from computer peripherals, mouse clicks, keystrokes, etc., but the MX 2S definitely pushes the line where it's too loud to ignore as it lets everyone in the room know your choice of mouse. Editing something that requires a lot of clicks and double clicks? My apologies in advance to anyone around as it gets boring quickly. If everything else about the mouse wasn't so perfect I would give it a lower rating and probably return it. It's a really great mouse and I'm hoping it either quiets down a bit as I press the buttons more or I just get used to the sound. Or I guess there's always loud music to drown it out.
