When I first opened it, I was disappointed with the golden hue. It's much warmer than all my other gold jewelry. But after a week of wearing I like it better. Even after washing your hands and applying lotion several times, it still looks great. I take it off to apply hand sanitizer so I don't know what it will do. The golden hue doesn't seem so bad to me anymore. I wear it on my index finger with a thinner silver band on my ring finger, mixed with silver makes it less yellow in my opinion at least. In general I like it very much.
