I like this sink because it doesn't take up much space on the sink and it works really well. However, I had the same problem that others mention as she tends to die between 9 months and 1.5 years. I just kept replacing it. But this time I actually called the irrigator. Not only did they send me a new pad, they also explained why it was able to burn through so quickly. You need to charge it about once a week. I left mine plugged in when not in use. So if you get one, treat it like a cell phone and only charge it when the battery is getting low. Otherwise it's great.
